According to the WABetaInfo report, Facebook-owned WhatsApp Messenger has added Facebook Messenger Room shortcut on WhatsApp version 2.20.163 beta for Android. This option is currently available for limited beta users across the globe.

It is being speculated that this feature will soon be extended to more beta users and after the beta stage, It may be delivered to the normal users very soon in the coming days.

It has also been seen in the report that this feature will also be made available for Instagram soon after WhatsApp, but not much has been disclosed yet.

Moving to the features, Room is capable of adding up to 50 people simultaneously. Interestingly Facebook has introduced this group video calling feature at a time when the demand for video conferencing application has increased significantly due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

As we all nowadays all are stuck in the house due to global lockdown, Google Meet and Zoom apps are gaining popularity over the crowd to connect with each other over video conferences.

To challenge these services, Facebook has set itself up and made its Messenger video calling that will be delivered in WhatsApp and Instagram very shortly.

Users can download this WhatsApp beta version and try their luck to see this option enabled or not.

I believe everything is hidden in technology. Just need to explore it.
